:: Throat Death. ::

So whatever this throat thing is... it's gotten about 5 million times worse. I appear to have one of those lovely circular things going on: my throat is irritated so I cough more, the more I cough the more irritated it gets. I woke up this morning with my whole head vaguely hurting from coughing all night long and my throat just as painful if not more so. There go my plans for today... from the expected outing with Dominique, to laundry, to helping arrange harmony parts for the Panto.

As it currently appears, I'll probably have to venture out at some point at least to get myself more (better) medicine, and soup for my meals because I don't think I can eat anything else.... not comfortably at any rate. Which is really too bad since I just went to the store.

I looked up various throat ailments online to try to figure out what might be wrong with me-- this is definitely unlike past issues I've had which makes me pretty sure it's not something like strep or tonsilitis. Furthermore, the only symptoms I really seem to have are the cough (and everything that it ends up causing) a terribly sore throat, and a very slight runny nose. Nothing really seemed to fit except possibly laryngitis but I'm not convinced (nor do I want to have laryngitis.)

I've tried most things I can think of (various kinds of cough drops and lozenges, lots of tea and honey, staying away from smokey areas, etc.) and it's only managed to get worse. Any thoughts?
