Somehow it has escaped me to post my big news. Blame it on the throat death I suppose. Anyway as it turns out, Burst Radio has decided to give me a show! That's right, I am officially a dj in multiple countries.

I am so cool.

Ego massage aside, I am totally thrilled. What's even better is that it's at a fairly good time for people all over the the globe to listen! My show (titled 'Los Angeles... I'm Yours' after my favorite Decemberists song and for other more obvious reasons) will be broadcast on www.burstradio.org.uk every wednesday from 8pm-9:30pm. That's 12-1:30pm if you're in California, 2-3:30pm if you're in Ajijic, and 3-4:30pm if you're on the East Coast (particularly those in Pennsylvania and Massachussetts.) If you have a moment during those times PLEASE try to listen. It would absolutely rock my world if i had international listeners, teehee. I'm keeping my tried and true format: theme based shows rather than genre based. A concept so awesome Bob Dylan has since stolen it from me for his xm radio show Theme Time-- which I'll let slide because as they say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Yeah, you know you want to listen.

The first show will be Wednesday Nov. 1 (that's next wednesday, not tomorrow) and the very first theme will be "Geography." To commemorate my travels, and to some extent my differences from my fellow Bristol students. This will be my first time doing an hour and a half long show so show some love and tune in :-D

[oh and for those of you that were a fan of using whrcrequests to IM during shows, Burst being ever-so-not-american uses MSN, so dl that if you wish to communicate to your favorite ginger-haired American presenter.]
