:: Update! ::
It's deceptively sunny today-- but having stepped outside I know that there's a definite cold snap in the air! No more of this wishy-washy pseudo-autumn stuff. I hope this doesn't mean I'm in for some serious rain. Probably it does.|
Anyway, Halloween was fun! Not quite the same as at Bryn Mawr (really, what is) but still fun in its own way. I went to the LGBT gathering.. which ended up having very few LGBT folks actually in attendence... that's probably because Halloween was on a *tuesday*. Oh well. The night was still quite entertaining-- the club we went to played some very good music, and over all I do believe a good time was had by all.
Thanks to those of you that were able to tune into my UK radio debut (and to those of you who couldn't but wished me well.) The show was not my very best but not too shabby either. I was definitely a little nervous, particularly after not broadcasting for many months and having to get used to the equipment in a new studio, but by the end of it I felt almost as comfortable as usual. Hopefully the rest will go just as smoothly : )
In other news... I am finally mostly not sick, though my sinuses are still a problem and the cough's not completely gone. I am not, however, back on a normal sleeping schedule. I think in that area I might be slightly hopefully. This does need to change at least a little bit though because there's some serious work to be done starting soon. Oh. I am also losing a considerable amount of weight. I don't know precisely how much because I have no idea where I would find a scale-- but my pants just keep getting bigger and bigger. At this rate i'm either going to have to put more holes in my belt or buy new pants. Personally I'm hoping for new pants, since i still need another pair of jeans. Also, my hair is getting quite grown out. Something will need to happen soonish to that as well. Probably not much, but the minute it gets noticeably grown out, I'm gonna have to seek out a reasonably priced hair cutter.
Well, my tummy is growling- time for some wheatabix!
